It was impossible not to smile while photographing Gabriela in her gorgeous childhood home with precious photos of her and her sister lining the walls and her sweet grandmother doting on us while everyone mingled and ate. I’ll never forget Gabriela sipping espresso as her family swapped stories and memories from their European adventures. Every moment was so meaningful including the italian tradition of cutting the ribbon as Gabriela exited her home. Luke and Gabriela enjoyed every second of their wedding day which also included a heartfelt Mass with so many loved ones involved, a joyous grand exit complete with a classic getaway car and olive leaves, stunning portraits at the Savannah Center (where Luke may or may not have been hoisted into the air by his groomsmen) and a fun filled reception that of course included traditional italian dancing and a cake table bedecked with italian treats. And unforgettably the couple closed down the night by being limbo champions on the dance floor.
