This does not mean couples cannot incorporate new ideas, fashion trends, or modern elements, so long as they do not contradict the sacred nature of the Nuptial Mass or Church teaching. Traditional Lambeth piping on wedding cakes has also made a strong return alongside long stemmed lilies, vintage inspired details, and classic styling choices.
To me, this reflects something deeper than trend cycles.
